    FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

What are the dates and location for Summer Enrichment?

Summer Enrichment is offered in two sessions! Session 1 runs June 3-13, and Session 2 is June 17-27. Classes are held Monday-Thursday from 9 a.m. until noon in three, 50-minute courses. Summer Enrichment is housed at Neblett Elementary, and students are supervised at all times by Sherman ISD teachers.

    Who may attend?

Classes are available to students who have completed grades K-5 in Sherman and the surrounding area communities. Students may select one class for each hour they choose to attend, for a total of three classes per session.

    How much does it cost?

Each class is $40, a tuition fee that is non-refundable. This fee also covers any materials or supplies needed by students in each class. Please register and pay by May 23. For questions, please contact Priscilla Burns at pburns@217929.com.

When can students be dropped off/picked up? Is transportation provided?

Teachers will be able to monitor drop off at the school each morning beginning at 8:45 a.m. and pick up until 12:15 p.m. Students may not arrive earlier or stay later than those times. The parent/guardian is responsible for transportation.

What about safety precautions, medical needs, behaviour expectations and dress code?

Students must follow the Sherman ISD Health and Safety Measures. There will not be a nurse on-site, so medical needs must be attended to by a parent/guardian. A medical release form must be filled out at the time of registration. Students are expected to behave in manner appropriate for learning, and repeated disruptions can result in removal from the program. Students are expected to adhere to the Sherman ISD Handbook and Student Code of Conduct.
